About

Hey there, I’m Jessica Schissler and photographer of Lena Grey Photography.  Most days you can find me  working in my office in the top floor of our finished 100 year old silo,  conspiring with my kids about our day, or out for a ride with my handsome husband.

I have been accused a time or two of being an animal lover(especially big dogs and horses).  The things that I am most passionate about in life are my husband and kids, Jesus and horses.

I love working with expecting couples whose life revolves around the western lifestyle.   Being involved in the intimate moments from pregnancy through the birth of their little one is an honor.  Making a stress safe environment while working with your newborn in the first 7-10 days for portraits  and through the first 2-4 weeks for lifestyle sessions which can be a very stressful time especially for new moms is my first priority .  While your story continues as your lil cowboy or cowgirl grows and changes month after month and as your family grows and changes it is a true blessing to be apart of your family’s  precious celebratory moments in your lives capturing your cowboy legacy.

When I’m not busy photographing expecting moms, babies and families  you can catch me in my boots, outside riding,  working on our lil piece of heaven with my husband and kids, hauling hay, feeding animals, or dreaming up our next project.

If you’re dying to hear more, here are a couple more things that you might not know about me.  My first concert I ever went to and my biggest crush when I was younger was George Strait,  I love archery hunting with my husband, I would rather muck out stalls than clean toilets, and  I love going to rodeos especially the NFR in Vegas in December.
